What do I need to bring?

Camera, passport, good shoes and a jacket. Please dress to the conditions, any questions please ask us.

How do I book & pay?

If you request we’ll send you an online booking form, you can pay via credit card or Paypal. All invoices are sent by our partner Landauer Reisen. If there is an outstanding amount to pay on the day the driver takes cash only

What are the cancellation fees?

€ 0 – Cancellation 7 days or more before departure

€ 40 – Cancellation within 7 days of departure

€ 100 – Cancellation on the day or no-show

Do you offer overnight packages?

Yes, we offer private overnight packages with a guide to South Tyrol because there is so much to enjoy from this region, for example, Lake Garda, The Italian Dolomite Mountains and the Mediterranean landscape. Please inquire about summer vacations near Innsbruck.

Do you take last minute bookings?

Subject to availability, yes. Please email us with as much information as possible (messages are checked regularly) and provide a telephone number if possible. Please note tickets for the interior tour of Neuschwantstein Castle cannot be reserved if within 2 days of the planned visit and during the busy summer months it is often impossible to reserve tickets unless requested months beforehand. If you really want to see the inside of one King Ludwig’s residences in the summer months we suggest the spectacular Linderhof Palace.

Do you have a waitlist?

Yes we do. If we are fully booked, or, if you are travelling alone and we do not yet have other people on the tour we can take your details and get back to you if there are any changes.

Is there a discount for booking multiple tours?

Yes, the 2nd tour has a 5% discount and the 3rd tour a 10% discount.

When do you use the passenger van?

Whenever requested, otherwise when there are 5 or more people on a Day Trip or 4 or more people with lots of luggage on a One-way Scenic Transfer. Our Mercedes Benz C-Class station wagon holds 4 suitcases or 2 suitcases and 4 half-size suitcases.

Do your vehicles have USB charging ports?

Yes

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, we have child and booster seats. Please advise what you need prior to the day of travel

What are the options to get up the hill to Neuschwanstein Castle?

One can either walk gradually up the road for 30 minutes (most people do this) or wait in a queue and take a horse and carriage (€8pp). In the non-winter months a bus is also available (€3pp), but again there are queues. All options demand a little walking uphill.

Should I notify you if I have trouble walking uphill or over rough ground?

Yes please. On some trips there are some optional nice places to visit, but they can be a little challenging to access.

What are the lunch options?

There are no fixed lunch places, however there may be times when your guide makes practical suggestions. If there is anywhere special you would like to stop for lunch please let us know and if you would like a picnic lunch to be arranged please advise and we will see what can be done.

Why do you need my hotel details and telephone number?

We need to know where to pick you up and drop you off. A telephone number is useful to us if for any reason we become separated during the day.

Why is the website different to when I last looked at it?

We are constantly looking to improve our tours by discovering new routes and things to see. With each new discovery we update our website.
